hey i was just wondering if guitar tabs exist of ANY songs by Hickey or any Hickey related bands by any chance?? I can't figure them out..... I'm quite amateurish on the guitar.

that guy that you keep thinking is matty is his brother Scott. I think he lives in the mission now and it freaks me out whenever I see him but i think he's getting used to random people staring at him in disbelief cuz he just smiles.
Also, sorry to anyone who ordered the hickey CD from s.p.a.m. and hasn't gotten it yet. The guy who wuz running the label kinda lost his shit and had to leave town but a few of us are trying to sort through the mess and get all the orders out and get copies in all the local stores.
p.s. hey aesop, we have 1-200 cds for you, chubby and rizz and i'll call you soon about getting those to you once we figure this shit out.
I once had a shirt that read "fuck art lets kill" on it. I used to ware it all the time to my art history class. That teacher didn't care for me much. And I didn't care for the class all that much either. But damn did I like that t-shirt. I wonder what became of it.

I know the QP's did some touring with Hickey way back. this is going to be a great show. wanna know what makes it so much better? Code 13 is playing! the 2 greatest bands to come outta minnesota getting back together for 1 day.

I thought I saw Matty walking down the street the other day as well. There must be a lookalike here in town. It really hit me when I realized that I won't ever see him play again, and won't ever hear any more beautiful songs he will write. Sorry if this sounds sad, but I am sad.
I have a question, would it be possible to get the Voodoo/ Hickey split in an mp3 format on this site? I have the 7in. I could do it if you like. I just get so many people asking about it when I tour around, and I can't make copies for all of em, I'd love to just tell em to come to this site to download it and pay their respects to such an incredible artist.

Wow, I had not looked at the site for a while 'cause it would spin me into 3week depressions. but I had a wild dream the other night. I was at this weird party during the day and I saw Matty walking across the street, but matty circa '98(w/dreads). And i called out to him and he crossed the street and I said really casually"I thought you were dead" and he said"I'm not dead man" and we hugged for a really long time and then I woke up.
