i was born and raised in san franwhatever. In my whole 20 years of life ive always felt like there's nothing in this whole damn city that makes me feel like I should really be there, till about half a year or so ago when i first heard matty luv screamin about pot at the top of his lungs. soon after i started listening to fuckboyz and dory. im really not good at this kinda thing but i just wanna say that whatever matty and yall who were there were doin, you were doin it right. stay drunk and naked. i sure as shit know im gonna.

Also, I was in a band that recorded "Her Prosthetic Hands" for a Hickey tribute that never came out, but I remember all the bands did such an amazing job on it. Too bad. HEY!! Dude. It totally sounds like we need to put out a box set. I'll totally help you. I can probably even finance it a little bit. The story should be told and seen and heard and smelt, bro. Well, maybe not smelt, but you know what I'm sayin. Don't let our youth go to waste, as a modern lover once said. We'd put out a massive call for material, and I know people would flood you with stuff. Bro. Bro. It must be done. For the kids.

Hey Aesop! Can you please give an update on ANY of the long-proposed Hickey releases that were being talked/dreamed/wished about over the last decade or so? I'm thinking of the reissue of "Various States," the next anthology that collected all the other stuff floating around out there (hopefully including those last two really dark and weird songs you guys did toward the end – one was called "Hang-Gliding Through The Ice Age," – and were recorded for a Alcoholocaust compilation that Scott never put out), and the DVD you were working on. I remember lots of people filming you guys at lots of shows.
