Yeah, ..Steve did a great job. At first I was pissed because he wanted to put out the vinyl. I hope thats not what youre talking about. I assume there are other forces at work preventing that from happening . I would like to apologize to Steve-O. I did not realize you had no intention of putting out the vinyl LP. I didnt bid on any of this dudes records that he had on ebay even though I wanted the Fuckboyz stuff, I didnt want it to come from a negative previous owner and it didnt look like it was well cared for. it was listed next to stuff like green day and against me. I wonder how he even aquired his fuckboyz records and who the previous owners were? There is no way in my minds eye that he could have ever been the original owner but he is way stupid for selling them anyways. I only buy hickey stuff off ebay. NEVER sell. you only give away Hickey records. Its never okay to sell but if you have to,(like if you have 2 of something trade is better) Hickey records are hard to find, thats what makes it fun! but it is possible and I gaurantee that you have a lot to learn. I dont know how to communicate directly with anyone anymore as Ive been deleted by some off myspace. I frequently cross paths with Steve-o on ebay. Survive is a good record. Right now though my favorite record is the sick pleasure 45 repress destroy the human race that comes with dolls under control of the code of honor split LP. ..ANd this new Riot COp LP is so good from Portland, soon to put out a plit record with MDC. The only way to aquire a record is at a show I think.

1-2-3-4-Go's reissue of Hickey's first album is out. Steve did a great job with much care and respect.
Also a fairly established, yet small and indy, film production company has contacted me about taking on the Hickey documentary.
Aaaaaand, "Baxter" (not to be confused with THE Baxter) Matty and I's all time favorite film has just been released on dvd.
Anyone wanna hang out on Matty's birthday and drink, oh I dunno, a forty? Otherwise I'm gonna do it by myself and that wouldn't be too cool.

Anyways, I just wanted to post a message saying that I have uploaded some more videos of the F-Boyz playing live, filmed back in 88'-89', as well as a candid clip of Matty playing and singing acoustically in a hotel room, featuring Scotty on harmonica. This was filmed during the band's cross-country move to San Francisco, during a hotel stay in Texas. I will probably post some more candid trip videos, as well as some more live footage. I keep getting requests for Hickey stuff, but unfortunately I don't own any. All the footage I have was taken during the 2 years I was playing drums in the F-Boyz. But I do have plenty of footage, live, as well as the video-documented drive cross-country.

I haven't been on here in a very long time, and just wanted to pop in and see what's new.
I also wanted to make a side note regarding the first 11 songs on the MP3 page. Those songs were recorded in the tail end of 1988, prior to The F-Boyz moving to San Francisco. They were originally planned for a full-length release, but just ended up being demos. Along with these recordings are 2 impromptu recordings of 2 cover songs, "Tequila" (renamed "Velveeta") and "Our Lips Are Sealed". As well as those recordings, the F-Boyz also recorded a cover of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" (with Aesop on drums). Also, right before moving to San Francisco, the band also recorded 3 songs, "Full Of Sin", "Hallucinating" and "Think Of Me". I am fortunate enough to still have all the recordings of these songs, as well as several other live recordings and bootleg demos, and many live shows on video. In my almost 2 years in the band, I managed to gather a nice collection of stuff, which I occasionally watch or listen to.
I don't know if the songs I mentioned weren't posted for a reason (maybe they weren't available to the webmaster) but if they are interested, please let me know so I can send them your way.
I haven't spoken to Aesop, Scott, or Seaweed in many many years, but I hope they are all doing great.

I haven't read any of this stuff for over two years..
Was reading a much earlier posting about some rumored smelly feet on a Hickey/Fuckface tour..To follow up on that, it was actually Robert from Fuckface who, when he finally took off his shoes for the first time (about five weeks into the tour - in Toronto where it was pouring rain and very soggy) was in so much agony from his rotting stumps that he couldn't put his shoes back on for a day or so. Robert was also really into ripping some of the most sinister farts while driving. You'd always know it was gonna hit you if he started cackling to himself for no apparent reason.
By the way, on that 9 week tour (1996) Matty wore the same outfit the entire way without washing. (The only exception being one night in a green jeans pants suit) I couldn't believe how much he did NOT reek! Patsy said that when he got home and took off his shirt it disintigrated...It, like, composted itself.

Hickey @ the fuckboyz changed, not only my life, but a number of kids living in Santa Cruz in the late 90's
